We’ve counted the votes, and a winner has emerged. With such an amazing push the past few days, our first TWO stretch goals are already unlocked! Let’s keep it going to try to hit them all and please let me know if you have any other stretch goal ideas you’d be excited to see

Please welcome our FIRST STRETCH GOALS!

Spot Foil & Gloss on Box (UNLOCKED!)

Details:
Each game box will now have glorious foil and gloss added to the cover. This will make everything really pop and add an extra touch to make the game box even more special.

World Map Interior Box Printing (UNLOCKED!)

Details:
Speaking of special, we’re also going to add interior printing to the box with an image of the game’s world map (concept art pictured). A lot of people seemed excited about this one, so I was thinking of maybe having the map available as one of the playmat images as well.

Health Tracker Web-App

If we hit $15,000, we’ll unlock development for a web-app health tracker!

Details:
This web-app will allow you to track every Hero at the table and will open up the options for us to add a lot more functionality to the health tracker. Easier companion tracking, equipment stat tracking, game wins, hero stats…what would you like to see this app be able to do?

Now that’s not all, we have even more pledge tiers cookin’ and have some goals set. Here are the goals and details for those.

Foil Stamped Set Symbol - $20,000

Details:
A fancy gold foil seal stamped in the upper corner of every card to help you distinguish your Reign of the Onyx King cards from the base game cards should you mix them together.

Solo-Play Mode - $25,000

Details:
A solo play mode, allowing you to take on challenges by yourself to test your skills.

Additional Illustrators - $30,000

Details:
Every dollar above $30,000 will be devoted to me hiring additional illustrators to help get the game finished faster. In the past I did all the artwork myself, and have set the current expected delivery time with that in mind. With this goal I’ll be able to get everything done, printed, and into your hands MUCH quicker. Every additional artist means a faster delivery.

I’m really excited to be able to get these stretch goals to you. They were additions that I wanted to add to the game, but wasn’t sure if we could meet the minimum order quantity. But because of your support, we might be able to make them without hindering our ability to deliver. So thank you SO MUCH! It’s so cool for me (and hopefully for you) to see the game be the best it could possibly be.

International Shipping

A big request from fans around the world has been for international shipping. I’ve done my best to get a fair quote for some of the most requested regions, but due to my current limitations will be shipping any international orders myself — so I can only offer the Basic Tier and Doodle Deck add-on for international shipping at this time. 

Right now we have Australia, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom available. If you, or someone you know who wants the game is from somewhere else, please leave a comment and I’ll do my best to update the options.

WE DID IT! Thank you so much!! I’m so excited to get Reign of the Onyx King into your hands. This would not be possible without your amazing support!

So far, we’ve reached $8,824 raised from over 87 backers! I was hopeful of a good first day but I’ve been absolutely blown away by your support. And we STILL have 29 days left in our campaign! 

And I’ve got some exciting stretch goals coming soon! 

If you don’t know what stretch goals are - they’re extra bonuses and upgrades we’re adding to your reward if we hit certain funding amounts. These are things I wanted to add to the game, but weren’t sure if we could meet minimum order requirements to make them worthwhile/affordable. Also, just wanted to let everyone know that I'm in the process of getting some quotes for some international shipping options since I've seen that as a frequent request from people. Expect an update on that in the coming days.
